UNICREDIT BANK AUSTRIA DONATES €200,000 TO SOCIAL PROJECTS
UniCredit Bank Austria is supporting the food supply for the homeless at two Caritas institutions in Vienna for the next two months, thanks to a donation of €50,000. A further €50,000 goes to SOS-Kinderdorf to ensure psychological counselling for children and young people via “Rat auf Draht” (telephone hotline).
In addition, UniCredit Bank Austria is donating €20,000 to three Italian hospitals at the centre of the fight against Covid-19: the National Institute for Infectious Diseases “Lazzaro Spallanzani” in Rome, the “Luigi Sacco” Hospital in Milan and the “IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo di Pavia” Foundation.
In the current year, UniCredit Bank Austria will also continue to support local social initiatives with funding of €81,000 as part of its Social Prize. In total, UniCredit Bank Austria has committed more than €200,000 to social projects.
