UniCredit donates 20 ventilators in Italy
UniCredit continues supporting the country during the Covid-19 emergency by donating new equipment to intensive care units at four health facilities in the Emilia Romagna region
As part of the bank’s constant commitment to supporting Italy’s management of the Covid-19 health emergency, UniCredit has donated 20 ventilators to be used by the intensive care units at four healthcare facilities in the Emilia Romagna region.
The initiative aims to support the healthcare centres that have had and continue to have a key role in fighting the pandemic. The ventilators will specifically be assigned to the local health authorities of the cities of Piacenza, Parma and Ferrara and Parma’s University Hospital Centre.
“This is another demonstration of solidarity with our community and our regional health system, which is helping us to withstand the impact of the emergency and slow the spread of the virus. Thanks to Unicredit for the precious donation, which allows us to strengthen the network of care and assistance for patients,” said Stefano Bonaccini, President of the Emilia Romagna region.
